Radnorshire Wildlife Trust's annual Toad Patrol is underway.

For the next 2 weeks, the Trust's team of stalwart Volunteers will help shepherd the toads and newts across the road to Llandrindod Wells Lake in safety.

Please note that to aid their efforts the Council will be closing the road for two weeks from Friday 20th March to Thursday 2nd April, from 8pm to 6am.

Support for the Annual Toad Patrol is always very good and this year is no exception with the rota filling up fast. If anyone feels they would like to lend the toads and newts a hand (literally!), it is essential they contact Darylle Hardy first, by email (darylle@rwtwales.org) or by phone: 01597 823298. A risk assessment is required as is hi viz jacket, gloves, and a torch.
