Rhos Pasture Restoration Project Manager (full time, May 2020 to March 2023). Interviews on Monday 30th March. 

Rhos Pasture Arts and Heritage Officer (3-day wk, May 2020 to Dec 2022). Interviews Tuesday 7th April.

Both starting in May 2020, working around the Rhayader area, with an office base in Llandrindod Wells. 

The Project Manager post focusses on habitat surveying, working with landowners and volunteers, and engaging and supervising contractors. You will also be responsible for the SMS paperwork including budgeting, financial claims and reporting actions. Volunteers from Rhayader by Nature are already engaged in this work.

The Community Arts and Heritage project officer will be engaging the community with the project and raising the profile of rhos pastures using arts and heritage activities. This includes practical activities, oral history, films, tourism and exhibitions. You will be working with CARAD in Rhayader to deliver some of these elements.

This is a Welsh Government Sustainable Management Scheme (SMS) project delivered through the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the Welsh Government and the European Union.
