Counting and recording wildlife
Monitoring wildlife is a crucial way for us to find out what's happening with wildlife and how we can best help.
At our biggest nature reserve in Radnorshire, a group of volunteers called the Gilfach Rangers help us monitor wildlife activity. They also carry out light practical tasks as well as chatting with visitors. Think you might like to join this group? Then get in touch via info@rwtwales.org
Surveys are also carried out on land other than our nature reserves, such as roadside verges, privately owned land and Local Wildlife Sites (LWS). Contact Fiona at Fiona@rwtwales.org if you want to help out with surveying with the LWS project.
