In addition to our direct response to the development we will be challenging the developers and Government with the following:
Is Radnorshire getting more than its fair share? Is this area targeted not just because it has uplands and high grounds with good wind, but because there are so few people here it is seen as easier to develop at scale?
What else might come in future if these developments and infrastructure go through?
What are the developers, OFGEM and Welsh Government doing to encourage smaller scale energy generation?
What will UK and Welsh Government do to improve insulation across the housing stock in Wales and the UK to reduce overall energy demand in future?
What will UK and Welsh Government do to promote the reduction of energy use? We know that current lifestyles exceed planetary boundaries.[1]
