About the event

Our speakers, Dan Westbury (River Lugg Project Officer) and Sarenta King (WACC Project Officer), will provide an overview of key projects, including the Wilder Lugg Project and the Wye Adapt to Climate Change (WACC) project. They’ll share insights into how we are enhancing habitats, and building resilience through natural flood management and community collaboration.

Radnorshire is home to some of the UK’s most magnificent rivers, including the Lugg, Marteg, and Ithon—tributaries of the River Wye, a Special Area of Conservation (SAC). Despite their importance, these rivers face significant challenges, with pollution and algal blooms causing declines in species like Atlantic salmon, otters, and freshwater pearl mussels.

You’ll get the chance to ask questions during the session. By registering for this webinar you will help us to raise money for our Rivers Appeal. The price is £4 for a ticket but any further donations are hugely appreciated!
