Pentwyn Fencing Tender
Radnorshire Wildlife Trust is seeking a fencing contractor to carry out a substantial livestock fencing project at the site of Pentwyn, Llanbister, Powys LD1 5UT.
In total it is estimated there will be 2,250 -2,500 meters of fencing to be replaced. This may be undertaken across 1-3 contacts, dependent on funding. There will be some hand work, gates to hang, railing works and chainsaw work.
In some instances, old fencing will need to be taken down and removed from site.
It is preferred by the RWT to employ local contractors where possible, so competitive local tenders are very welcome.
Please provide for RWT a quote by the meter for the following:
- Standard fencing – post, netting and 2 strands of barbed wire, stating the material specifications.
- Fencing by hand – as above.
- Erecting rails – where stated and as wings to gateways.
- Chainsaw work (by the hour) – permits and full H&S risk assessments need to be provided as part of the pre contract documentation.
- Gate post and hanging of field and pedestrian gates – see map for sizing and location.
- Dismantling and removal (to licensed waste disposal) from site of old fencing materials
Maps and a site visit can be arranged if needed to provide an accurate tender.
Please contact Sarah on 07983178512 to arrange any site visits or to provide a map.
Tenders to be received by 30th June 2022.
