About the event

Join us for a screening of the 'Wilding' film. We'll be launching our newly produced Wilder Pentwyn Farm Animation, a short 5-minute animated film about Radnorshire Wildlife Trust's vision for the future of our 164-acre Pentwyn Farm, and the step changes to achieving that. Read about our vision for Pentwyn here.

Then we'll be showing a screening of the feature film 'Wilding', based on the bestseller book by Isabella Tree. Wilding tells the story of a young couple that bets on nature for the future of their failing, four-hundred-year-old estate. The young couple dares to place the fate of their farm in the hands of nature. Ripping down the fences, they set the land back to the wild and entrust its recovery to a motley mix of animals both tame and wild. It is the beginning of a grand experiment that will become one of the most significant rewilding experiments in Europe. Film run time: 1 hour 18 minutes. View the film trailer here

There will be a comfort break, with refreshments provided. We will then finish the evening with a Q&A session with guest speakers from the rewilding movement (i.e. landowners and rewilding organisations) as well as time for community discussion about rewilding. Guest speakers to be announced.
